Everything went like clocwork! Early appointment, sameday tests/x-rays, and results within a couple days. Very happy with this visit to Surgery.

The only reason I am putting 3 starts for receptionists, is that I was waiting at the desk and a young lady came in with a very poorly boy (no mistaking this), she said she had an appointment at 11.15am, then the receptionist said, in a not too friendly tone, that her appointment was 11.00am, and that the surgery had finished. The poor lady, was a bit distraught, and said she was sure her appointment was 11.15am, but the receptionist, was not at all interested, and just said, I can give you a cancellation at 5.15pm this evening. Her manner was take it or leave it, which was not very customer friendly. At that time the doctor came out, asking about her last appointment. She was told that the lady was there but was too late. The doctor saw how poorly the little boy was and said, come in, I will see him now. I heard the mother say that she was going to take him to A&E rather than wait for tonight. I think the receptionist should have looked at the little boy, to see that he really was poorly and then made a decision of her own, perhaps, fit him in with the other doctors that were still in surgery. I was a little shocked at this treatment.

I am always impressed by how helpful and kind the receptionists are. I am a very satisfied patient of Dr. Khan-Gilbert and it is usually possible to arrange to see her at some time that is convenient. But if she is not available the other doctors are always impressive in their care and help. The nursing and office staff all contribute to a very satisfactory practice as far as we are concerned.

I go to the doctors for a long term disability. All the staff are helpful, the receptionists are always helpful and give the best information they can, the doctor there is amazing always explains whats going on and what will happen next.

This surgery goes from bad to worse.
The doctors are never the issue. Although all the changes don't help.
The receptionist staff are way beyond rude and extremely unhelpful to the level of being totally uninterested in patients.
Over the last 5 years it has steadily got worse and worse.
The health authority need to make some unannounced checks on this practice to see for themselves the appalling level of service provided by the practice manager and her team. When you write and complain to her about her staff, its easy to see by her response why the staff think its acceptable to behave like they do.
